Troubleshooting

Server Shows as Offline

If your server is running but showing as offline:

  1. Verify that enable-query=true is set in server.properties
  2. Check that your firewall allows connections on the server port
  3. Ensure port forwarding is correctly configured on your router
  4. Try connecting to your server from Minecraft to verify it's accessible
  5. Double-check the IP address and port you entered in McUptime

Not Receiving Discord Notifications

  1. Verify the webhook URL is correct
  2. Make sure the Discord channel hasn't been deleted
  3. Check if the webhook hasn't been removed in Discord settings
  4. Test by triggering a server status change

Incorrect Player Count

Player counts are retrieved from the server query protocol. If showing incorrectly, restart your Minecraft server to refresh the query connection.
